This is stealing so much data that Apple is being sued – Forward

[Manager] The “Wi-Fi-help” in Apple’s latest update of the operating system iOS 9 for iPhone is basically a good thing.

When you’re on a bad wireless network, your iPhone will automatically switch to the mobile network so that you can continue web surfing without plagued with sites that do not load, email that does not come and those annoying things.

The problem, of course, is that mobile data costs money in actual use while usually pays a fixed price for broadband.

For a couple was the additional cost such a huge problem that they have sued Apple for five million dollars, about 40 million. In class action lawsuit claims that Apple has underestimated the possible costs “Wi-Fi-help” can cause.

To turn it off is done in three clicks. Here are the steps:

  1. Click “Settings” on iPhone
  2. Select “Mobile networks”
  3. Swipe down to the bottom of the page and flip the switch on “Wi-Fi using”

Klikk “Settings” on your iPhone. Select “Mobile Web”. Swipe down to the bottom and flip the switch on “Wi-Fi using”
