Shortly after Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg went out and said that the company was considering rolling out an alternative to “like” button, they should now be ready to test a new Emoji as an addition to press thumbs up on posts. It writes The Verge. It was Engadget in Spain that was the first case.
In addition to pressing the thumb up, one can now press a heart symbol and Emoji expressing that one laughs, that you love, that is sad, and that one is angry.
– As you can see, it is not a “dislike” button, but we hope it can fill the need for those who wanted it. We have examined the comments and reactions expressed most often on Facebook, and then worked on designing an experience around them that is elegant and fun, writing Facebooks product manager Chris Cox on Facebook.
The function will be tested on users in Spain and Ireland first.
