Now disappears in Chrome – ITavisen.no

Only two years after it was introduced, Google has removed the warning center from Chrome on Windows, OS X and Linux.

Chromium-software developer Justin DeWitt was the reason that the notification center rarely used.

– In practice, few users who used the warning center. To make Chrome one we have therefore chosen to remove it from Windows, Mac and Linux in an upcoming version, writes DeWitt.

Push notifications
browser will still offer push notifications, but it is uncertain how Google Now users can access via the desktop.

Push Alerts has been available for several years now, but it was not until 2013 that the browser received a separate notification center . Among other things one could answer emails straight in pop-up window and check Google Now information.
