(Dinside.no :): Did you know that keyboard shortcuts or hotkeys in Windows not only can make you more efficient, but also save you from trouble “mouse arm”?
There are a ton that key combinations that can perform basic and advanced tasks without having to touch the mouse at all.
Many of them we have in DinSide discussed earlier, including in this article which is now some years old, but how many of the keyboard shortcuts still work in newer versions of Windows.

Windows 10 provides even more shortcuts
In this article we have compiled ten new shortcut that only works in Windows 10, Microsoft’s new operating system which was launched on 29 July.
Some of them are special smart!
(For the sake of clarity – Windows button located next to the space key is labeled with the Windows logo.)
# 1: Windows + Tab
Opens the New Task View, where all running applications and programs are live thumbnails next to each other.
# 2: Windows + A
Opens the new Action Center, which shows recent alerts and allows you to make quick settings.
# 3: Windows + S
Opens The new search box that allows you to search the web and on your PC.
# 4: Windows + Q
Opens the new search box with Cortana. Cortana is a digital guide which unfortunately does not work in Norway yet.
# 5: Windows + G
This key opens the new recording function for games. Using this you can record video from your play and share with other Xbox Live users.
# 6: Windows + I
Opens the new Settings app, where you can do most of the settings in the operating system.
# 7: Windows + X
Opens shortcut menu that you access by right-clicking the Start button.
# 8: Windows + Ctrl + D
Creates a new virtual desktop. This is a brand new feature in Windows 10.
# 9: Windows + Ctrl + F4
This key combination closes the virtual desktop you are on.
# 10: Windows + Ctrl + left / right arrow
Moves you between open, virtual desktops.
# 11: Windows + arrow up / down / left / right
Allows you to “snatch” the active window to one of the screen’s four corners, so that it covers 25 percent of the screen.
# 12: Windows + K
Connects you to a wireless display using Micrsoft Wireless Display technology (WiDi)
