Yesterday Ashes of Singularity the first game to support DX12, and Digital Foundry has obviously run tests to compare performance against DX11.

With v-sync
tests are done with Radeon R9 390 and GTX 970, running on Core i3 4130 up to 3.4 GHz and Core i7 4790K up to 4.4 GHz, and the tests are run on the medium setting.

As Eurogamer writes, it was not possible to disable AMD v-sync in DX12 tests, so all the tests were conducted with v-sync enabled.

oust
In Core i3-test so Digital Foundry an increase in frame rate from 24 to 40 with DX11 with DX12 , which is an increase of 67 percent. While running on Core i7 processor was increase at ridiculous 75 percent from the frame rate of 29 to 49.

– Most interesting is that the i3 with DX12 crushes i7 with DX11, which both run on the same GPU, same games, with the same settings, printer Digital Foundry.

Lets you impressed by the performance in DirectX 12 under?
