Google is the world’s largest search engine on the Web, and they can thank its more than 3.5 billion daily searches for.
Since the inception of Google in 1998, a number of other services have been added to Google Inc’s portfolio.
Now tell Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page that they are doing a restructuring of the company, and that the Google empire changes its name.
Forward is Google one of many subsidiaries under the company Alphabet Inc. This will also be the name the company’s shares on the stock exchange.

Following the publication of the name change went Google’s stock price up seven percent.
The division of the empire is going to ensure the development of new business areas such as drones and the much talked pilotless cars.
– This new structure allows us to stay focused on the extraordinary opportunities that we have in Google, Larry Page writes in his blog.

– What is Alphabet? Alphabet is a collection companies. The biggest of them is of course Google. The new Google being slimmed down a bit, and companies that are far from the core business will become part of Alphabet instead.
