Only two months after launch.
Ian Rogers was formerly CEO of Beats Music before it was acquired by Apple for $ 3 billion last year Apple, he was one of the key people in radio initiative Beats 1.
Cause unknown
Now Rogers left Apple Music, and very shortly after launch. The reason for his departure is not yet publicly known.
Financial Times writes that Rogers has gotten himself a new job and move to Europe to work in an “unrelated industry.”
Tough start
Apple Music has had a busy start-up, most of all because the market expects that Apple will deliver whatever they launch.
In early August, it was claimed that the service has lost half of listeners, while our view was that Dr. Dre Compton was the only reason to use the Apple Music, which is no longer valid since the album is now available in countries such as Spotify, WiMP and Groove Music.
