The German owner has no plans to sell the domain.

It was on Monday that Google announced big changes in the company, and introduced including the new Alphabet company.

Now it seems that fresh company already hit a wall: the German car giant BMW owns the brand Alphabet while the corresponding domain.
BMWs Alphabet offers services to companies that use fleet to the German manufacturer.
The important part of the business
According to New York Times said a spokesperson from the company that they do not had received some information from Google before the announcement on Monday, and has not received any bids for the domain.
– We have no plans to sell the domain, stated the spokesperson Micaela Sanstede in BMW, and added that the website was a very important part of Alphabets business.
Sanstede also stated that they will investigate whether there have been any violations of trademark rights, according to the New York Times.
