Apple has invited a large presentation in San Francisco that day. As usual keeps technology giant cards close to his chest and reveals little about what will happen. And as usual rampant rumors about what is in store.
Most agree that Apple executives will draw an updated Iphone out of the sleeve. It revolves around the models 6S and the bigger S6 Plus.
Improved memory
Mac Rumors reports that the new phones have chassis made of a stronger type of aluminum, improved camera, A9 processor and 2GB flash memory. The current model has A8 processor and 1GB ram. The new phones will also get support for the Apple calls Force Touch, which means that you can call up various functions by how hard you press on the screen or the home button.
In the invitation to the presentation reads “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” Siri is the name of Apple’s voice controlled assistant program.
– Opened you Christmas presents before you were allowed?
People who have tried to ask Siri about just this, has received a number of more or less cryptic answer:
“You have to wait until 9 September. I bet you were one of those kids who sneaked down to open gifts before you were allowed, were not you? “
“The only hint I can give you now is a hint of lime. And that there is a major announcement on 9 September. “
TV 2 challenged several iPhone with the same question (” Siri, give us a hint “in English and Norwegian), but only ended up with a number of false calls.
More color choices
Geek Wire think Apple also may introduce new features to Apple TV and perhaps a larger Ipad. The site also interprets the colors in the invitation to mean that the new phone might be available in several colors.
– Ipad Touch is available in more colors than Apple’s flagship phone. These colors may Iphone next month, writes technology writer James Risley.
Business.dk reports that the new phone will go on sale in late September.
