Intel’s new Skylake games CPUs – ITavisen.no

Intel starts Skylake party with two brand new Core i5 and i7 14 nm chip.

Reliable AnandTech has already tested the new CPUs. Skylake-CPUs like overclocking when they had no trouble watch them comfortably to 4.5 GHz.

About the performance:

With standard clock frequency is i7-6700K in average 37 percent faster than Sandy Bridge in the CPU tests, 19 percent faster than i7-4770K and 5 percent faster than Devil’s Canyon-based i7-4790K.

Sixth Generation Core CPU-is
The two new CPUs have names Core i7 6700K and Core i5-6600K. It is not overrasskende that individual CPUs to desktop launched first in the series with new Skylake processors, as it takes more time to integrate them into smaller laptops and other gadgets.

The new CPUs support Intel Z170 chipset, and is not locked so that you can overclock them from here to the moon.

Besides supporting the DDR4 memory and up to 4 cores running at 4GHz – without Turbo enabled.

Right under and over 3000 million
We have not been sent the Norwegian launch info, but looking at PriceSpy that i7 model costs 3590 million . The somewhat weaker and cheaper i5 variant is priced at 2590 million .

Intel has already announced Gamescom, where they used the occasion to unveil CPUs, that Asrock, Asus , EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI and SuperMicro is involved from the start with the new motherboard.

Laptop CPU later this year
Other Intel technologies company brags supported is Thunderbolt 3 and support for the company’s latest SSDs (including 800GB large Intel SSD 750).

An unlocked Intel Skylake K-series CPU for quick spilllaptoper released later this year.
