Offered liver to save his Jobs – Cook answer will never forget – ITavisen.no

Jobs refused to let Cook donate liver’s.

Apple founder got cancer diagnosis already in 2003, but was declared cancer free after successful treatment.

In 2009, however, health worsened. A condition called ascites made my stomach swelled up and created immense pain. Doctors gave Jobs told that a liver transplant was most needed.

Current Apple CEO, Tim Cook, was upset over the situation and decided to investigate whether his liver could be a match. The answer was uplifting – Cook was told that it could be possible to transplant parts of the liver, and in this way help Jobs.

The information appears in the book “ Becoming Steve Jobs ” a new biography written by journalist Brent Schlender technology and Fast Company editor Rick Tetzeli. The book will be launched later this month.



Cash “no”

Cook shall have made contact with Jobs, and offered him part of their lives.

According to Apple boss he managed not to talk finished before Jobs interrupted him.

Jobs was not even willing to discuss it, according to Cook.

Shortly after, Jobs still transplanted a fresh liver from a donor. It saved his life and made it possible for him to lead the company forward.

Steve Jobs died yet just two years later, as a result of complications associated with cancer. Cook replaced the boss immediately after his demise.
