HTC boss boss goes off – here’s replacement – ITavisen.no
Together they founded HTC. Now Cher Wang take over the helm.

Peter Chou has led HTC since the company was founded in 1997. He has been with both up and downs, and in the past it has enough perhaps been most of the lows.
Sales have been declining, and the company has been forced to cut costs. Many have critically to top manager and given him much of the blame for the lows.
As part of a comprehensive transitional phase, Peter Chou decided to resign. He is being replaced by HTC Cher Wang, chairman and co-founder of the company.

“As an entrepreneur, I am elated to see so many new possibilities. It is an honor for me to accept this opportunity to shape HTC’s development, “said Wang in a statement, adding:
” We see rapid changes in the industry, where the smartphone is our personal connection point to a world of smart devices. We were pioneers in smart phone industry, now we use the same reasoning to explore the potential of a new generation of connected devices and services. “

In a new role
Peter Chou will not leave HTC – on the contrary – he will go into the role as head of the company’s innovation department, Future Development.
