Secure Boot was introduced in Windows 8 to make sure to keep your PC safe and virus-free.

Could be turned off regardless of the manufacturer
advantage of eights was that one could disable startup check on all PCs.

Secure Boot had to be on by default on the products of manufacturers who wanted a “Made for Windows 8» -reklamelapp.

Now it is no longer up to you
problem with Windows 10 is that it is up to PC makers if they want to offer a feature to disable Secure Boot or not. It is no longer a requirement from Microsoft to offer deactivation.

In other words, ignorant customers come to buy a machine that is locked to Windows forever.

There are interesting to see how many people choose not to offer deactivation or whether companies see their chance to promote machines that can install everything.
