It is OnLeaks who shall have obtained leaked press photos of its upcoming flagship LG G4 . The pictures first appeared on Twitter.
Top Model with curved screen for the first time
They reveal, among other dimensions of the upcoming phone (148.9 x 76.5 x 9.9 mm) and hints that it has a curved screen like LG Flex series.
Curved screens are far from something new for LG part – the company introduced the its G Flex with curved screen in 2013.
Bet Flex design flagship
Flex range has not been the company’s flagship. Thus it becomes more interesting when they transfer this design snippet its upcoming flagship model – G4.
The question is whether LG is now taking a very big chance by introducing the idea of curved screen to its new top model. Time will tell.
Lending designed
LG G3s successor will be somewhat thicker and bulky, but supposedly compensate for this by borrowing design elements from G Flex 2.
This includes a plastic type to be scratch-resistant, and that the back is removable. This opens up the possibility to insert a microSD card, or replacing the battery, an opportunity competitor Samsung has removed its new top model.
It is expected that LG’s new flagship will be launched in May in years, so it’s probably not unlikely that more leaks will come in the near future.
