Facebook blunder reveals major changes Messenger changes – ITavisen.no

Facebook notification when the pizza is finished? Messenger on new platforms? This can we expect.

Wednesday, 25th March 2015 – 11:31

In starts Facebooks F8 conference and ITavisen present to cover the news. But even before the conference starts, Facebook has even revealed parts of what we have in store.

Through a separate app for the conference, the organizers sent out a push notification where they told briefly what that stood on the program. Mark Zückerberg is probably not butter bland now, since the message probably would be sent out tomorrow.

But enough about it – here at least it Facebook to talk about: “Parse for Internet of Things” and ” Messenger as a Platform “.

“Internet of Things”

The former is from Facebooks apputviklingsavdeling, which they otherwise acquired in 2013. Impossible to know specifically what Parse news will be, but probably there are plenty of talk about smart devices that can notify you (for example, if the pizza is done) through the Facebook platform.

Open Messenger

When it comes to “Messenger as Platform” is the talk that Facebook will now open up Messenger for third parties to a far greater extent. Among other expected that app soon come with extensions. There is also speculation about Messenger can now be available for several platforms and from other places than the app or Facebook itself.

We are present and cover the press conference consecutively from San Francisco. Stay tuned from 18.
