Berlin / Tek.no: Smart Watches. There is a bunch of them on the market, while it is still far from each wrist that proudly wears one of them. Dings genre all mobile manufacturers are competing have yet to take off, even if similar products have been on sale for several years.
LG’s new smart watch, Watch G R, carries two possible winning solutions. First, the Google Android Wear. There is a separate operating system for smart watches, which will provide easy development of applications and functionality across many different brands. Thus, smart watches finally start taking advantage of developers’ collective gray matter. Until now, developers have had to choose among many, sometimes very different types of watches, broken down by extremely few users. Such is neither the money in cash or attention of.

Finally a smart watch in reasonable size
The second feature is the design. It looks just like an ordinary wristwatch. The screen is roll round, and the size is somewhere in the same neighborhood as most ordinary men’s watch. Have a very compact wrist you may constantly scoffs at the size, but G Watch R should fit most.

LG imitation by ordinary watch is actually so successful that at some stills can be difficult to distinguish G Watch R from the good old analog version.
Also in use is the G Watch R pretty simple. As with other Android Wear products swipe up and down and back and forth between the different functions. Several functions have their own tabs.
Are you coming for example for remote control function, which controls the music player on your phone, you get the album artwork that shows what’s playing, and a control variant at a time. From swipe between play / pause, and rewind buttons.

Voice commands in English
One aspect of Android Wear non- particular user, at least from a Norwegian perspective is voice control. “Ok Google” is still not available in Norwegian, and it is unclear how many people will be wanting to switch speech several times a day to serve his watch. It is expected that Google will expand language support for Google Now-his solution, but it is unlikely that Norwegian is particularly high on the priority list.
Whatever works o’clock okay without voice control too.
The display of the watch is bright and good. It is one of LG’s new OLED variants hiding under glass. So-called Plastic OLED is the same technology we support the company’s flexible phone, LG G Flex, a while back. At that time we were a little disappointed, including over some impure colors, and screens hung in relatively long. There we were unable to see anything within minutes we spent with G Watch R.

Powerful specifications
LG smart watch can set with fairly strong specifications. It has a battery of 410 mAh, which is among the strongest batteries you find in some smart times a day. About 300 mAh is a far more common capacity in these types of devices, and there you will find both Samsung and Motorola smart watches. We expect this will give LG an edge in battery life, but as always, it is also a question of how power is actually being used.
Among the power hungry holders who are in the watch is a 400 Snapdragon chip. Exactly which of the many Snapdragon 400 versions in question has not said anything about LG. There is currently only known that it is an issue that is clocked at 1.2 GHz, and most likely it’s about a dual-core variant. It is nevertheless respectable compared for example Samsung’s Gear Live, which has two cores clocked at 1 GHz.
unbeknownst to the Norwegian launch
One of the characteristics of OLEDs is that they do not use electricity the black parts of the screen. Instead of blocking a backlight that’s always on, turn OLED screens of each pixel when black is displayed. At a clock can have positive effects if you prefer a dial consisting of large black areas.
Currently, it is unclear whether the G Watch R finds its way to Norway. LG has promised more information at a later date. The price of the G Watch R is currently not set.
