A long time ago there was so much fuss about an Apple launch. And although Apple says that the launch of the two Iphone 6 phones are the biggest upgrade they have done since the iPhone was introduced. But for those who have used other smartphones there is little that is not known already.
Design
Iphone 6 and 6+ are the first products with Apple’s new design. We have previously seen a rounding of the edges of the iPad, but the change from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6 is quite dramatic. The new design works great, and although they are great, the new phone good to hold. Fortunately, Apple has also moved the button to the side of the phone, so it should be accessible with one hand.
The new covers are fit slippery, so the phone slips easily into your pocket, but not out of their hands.
The glass over the screen has been faceted edges so you get a seamless transition between the metal cover and screen.
I also think the new Home button is more comfortable, and finger scan functions much better than before.
Multimedia
This is a very important category for Apple. Perhaps the most important thing. Therefore, I could well imagined even bigger news here. The camera on the iPhone 6 and 6+ is about the same as the iPhone 5S. The sensor remains at eight megapixels, but has been replaced by a new model.
The new image sensor has something called hot spots. At snapshots provide faster autofocus and by filming it shall give appropriate change of focus. Iphone 6+ also has optical image stabilization for crisper images in low light. Optical image stabilization is also very handy when shooting movies.
The camera takes very clear very nice pictures, but I’m not impressed. The auto focus is faster than before, but not that impressive. Iphone 6 takes very good pictures in low light, and may have a small edge over some competitors here, but we will do a separate test. A quick test shows that Iphone 6+ take sharper pictures in low light.
There has been a lot more with the front camera. It has got a brand new image sensor, and in addition, the blender now up to F2.2, to let in up to 80 percent more light than before. The front camera has now also series of pictures and HDR mode for better selfies.
There is very little that happened on lydfronten. Apple could for example have supported HD audio, but it does not. The equalizer is as it always has been.
Call quality is good, but excels in neither direction.
A region Iphone 6 and 6+ plus claim itself is in mobile gaming. They run pretty intense 3D games seemingly effortlessly and the response is always without delay.
User Experience
The user experience on the iPhone 6 models are largely similar to previous models. But phones are very attractive and powerful, so everything flows very easily. And there are some news, although most are far from new.
A natural place to start is the finger scanner. It is now much faster to log in with your finger, and there is a lot more precisely than before. Now you can also use finger identity in the App Store, which is very nice.
The next thing is the keyboard. Apple has introduced the word prediction, ie the words come up on the bar above the keyboard while typing. Unfortunately this does not work for Norwegian yet. Then it’s good that Apple has also opened a third party keyboards. It is these institutions that have created the greatest innovation on Android phones, which have been considerably longer than the iPhone when it comes to efficient text entry.
You can also dictate text by voice on the Norwegian. This works surprisingly well and is easy to use in various situations, such as in a car.
The keyboards have also received several function buttons, and the Iphone 6+ there are now separate buttons for cut, copy and paste .
In the Safari browser, you can now swipe your finger across the screen to return to the previous page.
A special zoom mode lets you make all the elements on the screen larger. This works best on Iphone 6+, where enough people will appreciate the good visibility. Since both models are the greatest team of all that can be done with one hand, Apple has created a shortcut to make it possible. By tapping the Home button twice quickly it moves down the screen, so you can also reach what was on top. Two new press brings the screen back again.
Iphone 6+ can also be used in tablet mode, ie lying. In many applications will then be split screen so for example both see the contents of the inbox and the selected e-mail, as is done on a tablet. This is very effective for email, calendar and several websites.
Time Lapse (time lapse) is a new video mode in iPhone 6 It allows you to pack down a long video of a clip 20 seconds.Health
Apple has developed a very detailed health app working together rather than in competition with, the many training and kostholdsappene available.
Unfortunately, one defects in the software made that Apple has blocked this feature for now. It should be enabled through an update yesterday, but the update turned out to also contain mistakes.

But we can mention that one of Apple’s real innovation lies here, in the form of a barometric altimeter, or altimeter. It allows to make it count meters and stairs rather than just steps and distances. Iphone 6 can also register without cycling accessories.
Conclusion
The two new phones feels very new, but one that uses all kinds of smart phones feels they are far from innovative. They are very attractive and in some areas incredibly user friendly. But other areas have Apple beaten by competitors. I think existing iPhone users will quickly get used to the new size, but are you tired of Apple’s user should also consider a competitor.
