The fact that Microsoft has been planning to reveal the replacement for the current Windows has been rumored for a while alllerede. Now, however, the date for Windows 9 debut officially nailed.
Microsoft has in fact sent out invitations to the press for a Windows event will take place on September 30.
“Join us to hear what’s coming for Windows”, we read of the otherwise very sparse invitation. The presentation will be aimed at advanced users and will also focus on business solutions.
It is expected that Microsoft will release a test version Windows 9 during or just after, the event. How will developers, companies, or just curious individuals, could test the operating system and provide valuable feedback before Windows 9 is released in a far more polished version next year sometime.
Much is already known
There is speculation that Microsoft will walk away from numbering with Windows 9, and simply call This new edition of “Windows”.
Furthermore, everything suggests that the sorely missing start menu will be in place. However, it has got a new twist than was the case with previous versions of the operating system.
