Sony has just unveiled their upcoming flagship on the international market, Sony Z3 +.
The phone does not offer the greatest upgrades from last year’s top model, Z3, but is rather a gradual evolution.
The rumors we published in April agrees well with today announced specifications. As reported then, Z3 + corresponding display Z3, namely a 5.2 “IPS display in 1080p. The camera of 20.7 megapixels and memory of 3 GB is also the same.
Dog has front camera has been greatly upgraded, from 2 to 5 megapixels. In addition, the internal memory at 32GB while it has support for memory cards up to 128GB.
Thinner with weaker battery
Since the thickness is reduced from 7.3 mm to 6.9 mm, are also battery reduced to 293+ mAh. So the question is whether Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, which is more power-efficient than its predecessor 801 , outweighs the lower battery capacity.
Sony has not released any details about the battery life, but claims it will have up to two days of battery life.
Almost unchanged design
Sony Z3 + does not differ large from Z3 design wise. The phone still comes in black, white and copper, in addition, it comes now in a teal-variant. The most noticeable change is that the phone’s micro-USB port is moved from the left side to the bottom of the phone.
Moreover, Sony removed the USB cap – which was always like to note to get on and off – without compromising phone water and dust security verification.
Sony Z3 + can be expected on store shelves by the end of June and has a suggested retail price of 6490 dollars.
