A few months ago it became clear that the Oculus Rift still not come with a consumer version this year.

Many had hoped for a 2015 launch, but it proved that not to happen.
Oculus boss, Palmer Luckey, was very taciturn, and would not say when we could expect us late launch.
Says nothing about price
Now, however, the Facebook-owned company through a blog post announced that a consumer version of the VR headset comes in the first quarter next year.
Details on price, availability and so on, are not disclosed yet.
But this is good news for anyone who has looked forward to test the VR headset.
