Now you can try Office 2016 – Dagbladet.no

Dinside.no: Already in March were given developers a sneak peek at the new Office, but now makes Microsoft a test version available to the public.

And when Office 2016 launches in the fall, there with a series of innovations, both in terms of functionality and appearance.

Collaborate in real time
A the most important news is that in Office 2016 becomes possible to collaborate on documents and presentations in real time.

This is the so far not new – Microsoft launched this possibility in 2013 on its web edition, but news is that this feature will now be available on the desktop version.

And then a pretty important function, given that the vast majority use Office on the desktop.

Unfortunately, not real-time feature implemented in test version, so we’ll probably not see this feature before the full version will be launched in autumn.

New features include a new help feature that makes it easy to find the features you’re looking for, a Smarter Exchange inbox that sort your emails by importance (based on how you have previously interacted with them) and more powerful Excel tools including can provide forecasts with one click.

Test Edition can be downloaded from here. It basically requires an Office 365 subscription, but you do not have it, you can use the license code located there, which will then act as a 180-day trial.
