This is the year’s best summer We give you the top 5 list of the year’s big test of … – Avisa Nordland

[broom.no] They look very simi- out where they stand, or is in large stacks. We talk about summer tires.

But do not be fooled by appearance. The differences are in fact larger than one might think. Key features such as rainwater drainage, braking distances and characteristics of evasive action can – to be uncomfortable honest – mean the difference between life and death.

Other features that go more for comfort are also becoming more important. We are talking about tire noise, tracking the roadway, steering feel and easy rolling resistance in order to save fuel, emissions and the environment.

2015 edition of this year’s summer test run in partnership with Motor / NAF, Aftonbladet and Auto Motor and Sport in Sweden, Tekniikan mailmen in Finland and Auto Revue in Russia. The actual implementation is done in Texas, USA at a time when it was still winter in the Nordic countries.

Despite differences and variations we find that some tire marks scoop top spot year after year. While other brands vary more up and down lists.

So it is this year. It is clear that some manufacturers have more resources and larger budgets for development and testing than others.

The tires that do well are also the tires you as a customer often pays the most for. Often quite a bit more, too, than those who end up in the middle of the tree or down the list.
There are also some summer one simply should also steer clear. See the list here:

It’s not that there is an obvious winner. It is close to the top and it also varies a bit what characteristics the different manufacturer puts highest and cultivates most forward.

This year, like last year, the Continental sticking with total victory, narrowly ahead of Nokian and Pirelli shares second place.

How can the car be quieter – and more comfortable:

Continental Conti Premium Contact 5: 9.5 points

Continental is thus the winner of the test, once again. Covered get the grade 9 or 10 in all disciplines except in rolling resistance.

This means that this is a very safe tire choice and test drivers praised the tire stable and secure behavior in critical situations. In addition comfort on bad road among the best.

Nokian Hakka Blue: 9.3 points

Finnish Nokian asserts itself once again among the best tires. On wet road performing well both in the brake test and aquaplaning test.

Test drivers commenting that covered feels very stable and safe. It has slightly longer braking distance on dry road than the best. The comfort is good and the tire is lighter than all the others.

Pirelli Cinturato P7 Blue: 9.3 points

Pirelli joint second with Nokian. The deck has a regular and good properties on wet roads, with grade nine in all disciplines.

On dry asphalt is the best of all and one of the testers’ favorites when it comes to driving feel. Weakest character gets covered in ride comfort on bad road. Along with Nokian rolls the easiest of all, which is beneficial for consumption.

Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance: 9.1 points

Goodyear is one of the most comfortable tire in the test with a grade ten for noise and nine for comfort on bad road.

In addition, the tire rolls very easily. Driving feeling on wet roads are among the safest, but covered water plans a little earlier than the best. Besides commenting test drivers that covered feels a bit softer and less control precisely than desirable on dry asphalt.

Kumho Solus HS5: 8.9 points

Korean Kumho is a slightly less expensive tires, but is performing still very good on most surfaces.

Especially on wet pavement has covered smooth and good performances in both braking and driving feel. In aquaplaning test this is one of the very best tires. In addition, it is comfortable, but have high rolling resistance and gives a little longer braking distance in dry asphalt than the best.

Once you have picked out what tire you are considering buying, you should always check the price of three to four dealers. It is not uncommon that you can save 1,000-1,500 dollars on four decks of the same make and model. Well worth getting married! (ANB)
