Collaborate in real time
One of the most important news is that in Office 2016 becomes possible to collaborate on documents and presentations in real time.
This is the so far not new – Microsoft launched this possibility in 2013 on its web edition but news is that this feature is now being available on the desktop version.
And then a pretty important function, given that the vast majority use Office on the desktop.
Not ready yet
Unfortunately, not real-time feature implemented in test edition, we will probably not see this feature before the full version will be launched in autumn.
Microsoft has written about what we can expect in Office 2016, so stop by their blog for a more complete overview of news.
Test Edition can be downloaded from here.
