watchOS 3 rescues Apple Watch – ITavisen.no

Faster and smarter.

Apple has in many ways admitted that they missed quite so strongly with Apple Watch.

High faster
performance is one thing, the point we commented a few days before WWDC-press conference.

we did not realize that the hardware was able to run apps in the memory of the way (the hardware is powerful enough for us to to be questioned why they did not do this from day one), thereby starting them so quickly that you do not have time to notice it, versus watchOS 2 who used seven seconds under Apple’s presentation on open the same app.

Apple will have bragging to at all dare to show how slow Apple Watch is currently, watchOS 3 will be released after all, not until the autumn.

Much smarter interface
It is not just the performance that is greatly improved, completely free thanks watchOS 3; Apple has also admitted that the designed interface errors, because they now make significant changes that look very much better.

The designers at Apple have realized that it is better to give people something they are used to (a mantra one would think was hard-coded into Apple, but Apple Watch team did not quite with it), therefore is a multitasking menu (dock-one) in place and fetched up with the former contact quick button. Apple Watch will function more like the iPhone, and it is a product people definitely are familiar with.

One of the biggest changes is that “glances” are gone in favor of the aforementioned multitasking dock, you know those little info tiles that pops up at the sweep from the bottom up.

Almost forgotten
and, the digital crown was not talking about Apple, another admission that it was not so important as they had hoped for when they first showed off Apple Watch – it was once this part of the product in the center.

also in version 3 change the clock face by sweeping away the current design, another concession that they made things more complicated than it should have been (hard 3D Touch-pressure).

Now that OS seems to be much better, it will be interesting to see what Apple can do with powerful hardware (and please give us better battery life).
