After years of waiting, it’s finally time for the Tesla Model X will get to put their wheels on Norwegian wheels.
There have been several delays along the way. Among other things, the trouble with the unique tilting doors – like Tesla have baptized Falcon doors.
But next week, specifically on Thursday 9 June, Broom have the opportunity to see the car on Norwegian boards and get a small first impression of what it’s like to run it.

Readiness transport
the interest is increasingly large, although Tesla can not give us specific figures on how many people have ordered.
Information Manager at Tesla Norway, even Sandvold Roland says to Broom that the first cars going out to customers begin to be transported to Norway now.
– It’s not long until we can begin delivery of the cars to the first customers, he said.

Won his own car
One of those waiting in excitement, Bjørn Nyland. It eventually world-famous Tesla enthusiast has its own Youtube channel where he constantly puts out Tesla-related clips.
He was in a competition to enlist Model X-buyers, and did so well that he simply won a copy of the car itself!
He was even to specially invited in California, when the car was presented to the press for the first time.
during the trip got he tested the Model X thoroughly. Over 4,000 kilometers he has driven – and that before he ever got his own Model X.

Tremendous windshield
– What are your impressions of the car?
– The taking turns almost as good as Model S. The large windscreen provides good sense of space and excellent views when driving among skyscrapers. In Norway, it certainly reigned in Western Norway, particularly at Gudvangen. But there should have been a dropdown or something similar to shield the sun.
– What about the special tilting doors?
– They are incredibly stylish. We have not kid yourself so we have not got experienced how convenient they are. But they gave at least a lot of attention every time we opened them. In Norway, this will be cool the first three months. Then, the “all” them.

The windscreen of the Model X is simply enormous, and extends far up on the roof.
Doors opened by itself
Model X also has front doors that differ from those we are used to from other cars. They open by itself, when you approach the car and closes by itself as well.
– It was cool at first, but they went up and again when not needed it. Especially when I walked around the car to load / out luggage. So the function was disabled after one day, says Nyland.
We look forward to becoming better acquainted with this car yourself. And we promise to come back to when we’ve got running it. The first impression we can thus deliver as early as next week.
