Lyngdølen drove a Porsche 911 against an Airbus A320neo in connection with a TV recording for the new TV-series OSL 24-7, to be sent on Viasat 4 in the spring. In this series one gets an insight into what happens at the airport, and one of the things is that Matt Lindland is running the race with an aircraft.
” It was very fun, and an experience completely out of the ordinary. I read in the media that some of the passengers in the terminal had seen this, and wondered what in the world a car made out at the airport, laughing Lindland.
the 38-year-old is finished with this year’s season, which ended with a 14. place in the Porsche Supercup, and a third place in category B in the French Porsche Cup. Planning for the next season is already well underway.
– We are working fully with the plans for 2017, it is a phase now where there are ongoing negotiations with various teams. I hope to be able to run for one of the top-teams so that we get the best possible conditions for taking new steps in the upcoming season, which officially starts with the first race in may. But I hope to have something ready as fast as possible.
Lindland is also one of the candidates to become this Year’s Idrettsnavn in the Lists, deciding he won in 2014.
– It is an honor to be nominated, and it’s fun that people follow what I do. The interest for the racing is great and it means a lot to me, he stresses.
