Rottefella on Klokkarstua in Hurum may lose half of the turnover when skimerkene Fischer and Rossignol launches a private bindingssystem writes Finansavisen.
HURUM: on Wednesday afternoon confirmed Rottefella in a press release that it is a violation of skiprodusentene Fischer and Rossignol. The two skifabrikkene have joined together and developed a competing bindingssystem to Rottefella as launched in January next year.
It will mean that the Rottefella already next year can lose large parts of their revenue. Fischer is estimated to have 30 per cent of the market share within the cross-country skis on a worldwide basis.

Consequences
To Mallorca confirms both Fischer and Rossignol use their own bindingssystem on all the new ski. Bindingssystemet Turnamic shall have been under development since 2009.
For Rottefella get this large consequences. In Norway, constitute the battle of the cross-country skis between 300.000 and 400.000 pairs of skis in good winters. Until now, Rottefella has been a dominant market leader in Norway and in large parts of the world, but when Fischer and Rossignol bets on the own system sits factory on Klokkarstua again with Madshus and Alpina.

Settlement
After Rottefella in the summer lost a lawsuit in the district court, whether the system Prolink from Amer Sports, they have now entered into settlement. Prolink is a bindingssystem used by skimerkene Atomic and Salomon, and which is compatible with the Rottefellas system.
