ESS Mobile Offshore Units confirms today that they are selected as supplier of catering on the two new jack-up rigs in category J, operated KCA Deutag Drilling Norway.
the Contract runs over four years, with the possibility for further options.
the Rigs are scheduled for operations on the Gullfaks and Osebergfeltene already next year.

The new rigs Ashlad and Cinderella is specially designed to withstand the tough weather conditions on the Norwegian continental shelf, and built in its entirety at the Samsung yard in South Korea.
” This is an important contract. KCA Deutag is a very exciting customer for ACES. We are already well underway to tailor the deliverables, ” says Log Bergjord.
the Rigs are owned by the Gullfaks and Oseberg licenses, and operated by KCA Deutag.
Each rig will have space for 140 overnattende each, including a number of ACE cooks and other service personnel.
