Wednesday announcing Canal Digital that they now release the app “Canal Digital” to the Apple TV.
It means that you now can stream any of the channels, as you usually need to switch to the decoder to see, directly from the Apple TV – with the same familiar user interface and the same remote control.

the App can be downloaded from Wednesday 2. november to the fourth-generation Apple TV. The app will not be available to older models of Apple TV.
A similar app is already available on Chromecast.

There is a “but” to, and it is unfortunately a big one.
Canal Digital for Apple TV is designed for the company’s satellittabonnenter. It will say that cable-TV subscribers, just over half of the company’s around one million customers, not get pleasure from the app.
