MacBook Pro-tests: It runs circles around Windows machines – ITavisen.en

The new Pro model gets a lot of praise in perhaps the first test.

Tests for non-Touch Bar release of the MacBook Pro has been available for a good while now, and the waiting most on is, of course, how top models with Touch Bar provides.

Perform very well
The first tests seems to be clear about not too long – we have not yet received a test unit, but we’ll be testing it and yesterday evening Norwegian time published the professional video editor Thomas Grove Carter their views.

Carter’s experiences are based on the 15-inch, which of them is uncertain, and so he usually uses a PC as the video editor. According to him, the new MacBook Pro is more than powerful enough to edit in Final Cut Pro X (FCP X) with 5K recording.

“First and foremost, it is very quickly. I have used the MacBook Pro with the latest version of FCP X and edited the 5K ProRes material throughout the week, it runs really smooth. No matter what you think the specifications say, it is a fact that software and hardware are so well integrated that it runs circles around Windows PC’s with “superior specs” in the real world. This has always been the truth with the Mac one. If you are running the software with the old code that doesn’t use the hardware well, you will not get any good performance”, brag.

Miss no connections
On adapterfronten, which has been very controversial, not Carter something to procrastinate on the computer and writes that he is already using an external SSD with the USB-C connection.

“The only difference is that I don’t need a USB A to C cable anymore to use it. I plug it straight in”,, enter the video editor.
