Chinese Huawei is one of the phone manufacturers that make good about the day. Huawei P9 have been well received, including by the us, and has now reached nine million sold.

the Company has previously manufactured Nexus phones for Google, and it was rumored that they also should stand behind the one of the Pixel-phones. It did not happen and it is the HTC which manufactures both units.
According to Huaweis Colin Giles got the offer to produce a Google Pixel, but they chose to decline the offer to pursue their own interests.

another reason that it was not a Pixel-mobile of Hauwei, is that Google had no plans at all to mention Huaweis pairing to your smartphone.
“Huaweis goal was to get a foothold in the american market, and the company had no desire to build mobiles for others without getting anything out of co-operation”, writes 9to5Google.
The chinese company unveiled recently Feed 9 with some impressive specifications. So far we know nothing about the Norwegian launch.
