Artist Sandra Lyng and blogger Kristin Gjelsvik among MTV’s new profiles. – Campaign

MTV joined by artist Sandra Lyng, blogger Kristin Gjelsvik, actress and model Ine Back Iversen and YouTube profile Erik Clearance to create video blogs app MTV Play. The app, which launched last fall, is a collection portal for MTV programs and content.

– MTV has a long history of finding and educating young people in the entertainment industry. With this partnership, we want to offer a fun and entertaining product to young people with completely different media habits than adults. We will also use our networks to bring forth extrusions, says spokesperson for MTV Nordic, David Lincoln Blom, in a press release.

Blom believes that the Nordic countries is an important priority for them.

– Norway and the other Nordic countries are incredibly good at detecting and take advantage of new digital services. This means that you must think creatively when to reach especially young Norwegian consumers, and that’s what we want to do with this initiative. We want to be where audience ours is.

Sandra Lyng be video blogging about the artist life.

– I think it’s tremendous to be one of the first artists to work in this way with MTV. Followers are mine will be able to see how I feel about concerts and studio recordings and get a little more personal picture of me than is achieved through social media, says Heather.
