Better performance is important enhancement
There are not very many new features, but the OS is noticeably quick on older machinery and MacBook 2015 which was certainly not have as much power to spend, but running OS X 10.11 lot better than its predecessor.
For that reason alone we recommend upgrading from the App Store now, it should not offer technical problems, we have certainly not experienced any problems after beta-tested the OS for months.
