We’ve heard about several such cases. And not least, we have heard of cases where you have all your passwords in one place – for example in LastPass, then forget this password too (do not despair, these too have “forgotten password” routines as described below)
Thus, you will no longer onto Facebook. Or maybe iTunes. Or worst of all: You’ll no longer have access to the money you have in the bank.

You must call your bank
Online banks often have different menus and routines, which are almost always shared. For example use Bank ID code from the code chip or PIN code sent via text message on your mobile.
But in addition, you’ve a password that you must remember, and as requested by the bank should be so complicated that it is hard to guess for unauthorized persons.
Very few online banks have automated routines for this. Here you have to actually call service number and speak with a customer consultant. The caller has a procedure to deal with, so that it can be confirmed that you really are who you give yourself out to be.

But what if you forget your PIN?
Most often such service calls day open, so you risk hardly being left without the ability to pay the bill Sunday evening whether the deadline on Monday night .

Many live today much of their lives on social media. Thus the crisis of access to these suddenly disappear if the password is sopping gone in the head.
Facebook has a pretty straightforward routine of this. If you enter on Facebook.com without logging in, you will find “Forgot password?” In the upper right corner.
After you have clicked on the link, enter your username, email address, phone number or the real name – whichever is associated with the account. Finally, click on “Search” and follow the onscreen instructions.

Twitter and Google
On Twitter, the routines fairly similar. You enter HERE and follow the instructions.
Google search is something we use more or less all of them, and a large percentage is also dependent on being logged with Google to get e-mail, share documents and photos and many other things.
Not surprisingly, Google has good routines both for the forgetful among us. You simply goes to this page and follow isntruksjonene.

iTunes, however, has a different way of getting people into the fold again when the worst happens. Here you can choose between three methods: To answer the security questions you set up when you opened your account (who remembers exactly are these?), Get a link via email that gets you ahead in security procedure or re-confirm your account with so-called double-layer verification.The last means that you get a four-digit PIN code via SMS or “Find my iPhone” that you find on iCloud.com.
Spotify has made it very easy for you. Simply click the “Reset password” second bottom of the login page. Then you get an email with a link to it on time to get a new password.
Tidal / Wimp has exactly the same routine. And in both – like so many places – it has become customary to log in via Facebook account. If you do not remember your password there – see above.

But I’ve forgotten your username too!
But what if you can not remember your username? Most remember their email address, and that is precisely the key to getting back both username and password.
But what if the email address your account is linked to no longer exists or you have long since forgotten password also there?
The most obvious solution is follow the “forgotten password” routine in e-mail service. If this does not exist anymore (for example, when broadband company you were once customer is gone), then you have a problem.
When is enough only solution to contact the customer service department of Facebook, Google or Apple directly via e-mail or phone, so you get a human to solve the problem for you.
