A few days ago became the first comprehensive attack on Apple’s App Store detected. It referred primarily to China, where a number of developers used unofficial versions of Xcode tools to develop apps, which then were infected with malware.

First and foremost, writes Apple that there is no evidence that anyone was directly attacked by malware or that it’s been stolen any personal information.

If users have downloaded apps with malicious code, they will be informed about it. The developers are also working feverishly to develop new versions that do not use the deferred version of Xcode. Apple will publish a list of the top 25 apps that have been exposed, in a short period of time.
Finally loves it too that Chinese developers will be able to download new Xcode versions faster in the future.
