The biggest change in 16 years.
Shortly after it became known that Google becomes part of the new startup parent company Alphabet, have advertising and search giant updated its logo.
A nice update
Product Sans (sans-serif family) is the name of the new font Google has chosen to update their image with. The old font was serif word mark.
It is still very easy to see which company is represented: still they are easily childish colors in place, but a bit less childish games accentuated than before. None of the letters is cocked, except e-one. The term appears sharper.
