Finally released for Windows.
OS X users have had the official version of Office 2016 since mid-July, and now it’s also available for Windows.
From Microsoft press release:

Office 2016 facilitates collaboration and makes it easier to achieve results with others.
- At the same time editing is now available in Word, PowerPoint and OneNote, and real time editing in Word lets you see someone’s changes while they are being made.
- Skype integration allows you to send instant messages, share screens, shortening talk or video chat in your documents while you are online.
- Office 365 groups are now an integral part of Outlook 2016 klientappen, and is now also available on mobile via App Outlook Groups. The program allows the interaction is simple also between different devices.
In addition, it soon new Office 365 solutions with programs and services to provide better interaction:
- Office 365 Planner will make it easier for groups to produce plans, organize and distribute tasks, set deadlines and keep each other updated with visual dashboards and email alerts. Planner will be available in preview for Office 365 First Release customers from next quarter.
- New updates for OneDrive for Business comes later this month, and will provide better synchronization, mobility, IT -control and developer experiences. Next-generation Sync Client for Windows and Mac offer better end-user experiences and increased size and volume limits.
- GigJam, which was unveiled earlier this year, is from today available as a private preview and will be integrated into Office 365 in 2016. GigJam allows groups perform tasks and work with business processes in a whole new way, and simplifies work across devices, applications, and between members of the team.

Office 2016 require that you have Windows 7 or later. Office 365 subscribers can download Office 2016 now.
