New feature on Snapchat – but there is a catch – TV 2

Over longer have geofiltre been a feature on Snapchat.

Now bildedelings app launched a new feature where you can create your own filters and decide which areas they can be used in, writes technology site The Verge.

Snapchat envisions that the new service can be used for weddings, birthdays and other events.

But if you try the new feature, it will cost you money.

According to the Verge starting prices for a filter of five dollars, equivalent to about 45 million. Prices vary depending on how long the filter will be active and how large an area it will be used.

The new feature is available in US, UK and Canada for the time being.



Extra income for Snapchat

Tekonologinettstedet points out that this is an opportunity for Snapchat to monetize their users.
