Now remove the information also from Google.com.
In 2014, the EU decided that the citizens have the right to be forgotten. Google accepted this ruling, but has been criticized for how they have dealt with it.
Meets the requirement
appealed last year the global enforcement of the right to be forgotten and claiming it will affect the public’s right to information and that it was a form of censorship. The appeal was rejected by French dataregulatorer and the right to be forgotten should apply to all of the search engine domains, not only Google.fr.
Now, Google has finally taken note. That search results not only be removed from such Google.fr but also Google.com.
In other words it means that if a Frenchman requests to remove information from .fr, this information will not appear in any version of Google’s website, provided the search is carried out in France.
