As long as the get the Pixel-phones get OS updates from Google – ITavisen.en

This will probably disappoint many.

After a bunch of rumors were Pixel-the duo officially shown off yesterday.

Two years of OS updates
of the Phones are now available to order in a variety of countries – excluding the Uk – and the first state starting in not too long.

In the official online shop of Google if you look under the specs that these come with Android 7.1 – as previously rumored. In addition, the “2 years of OS updates” and “3 years of security updates”.

Good enough?
This is both good and bad news for customers. The good news is that the Pixel and the Pixel XL is assured of support in a certain period of time, the bad is that customers are only secured updates to your operating system in just two years.

For comparison, could the iPhone 5, which was launched on the fore four years ago, upgrade to the latest iOS 10 in the fall.

What do you mean? Is two years with the update enough, or is it too little?
