Apple: – We design not for the price, we design for the experience – ITavisen.en

the Company responds to the criticism.

yesterday, Apple shipped the new MacBook Pro models, which among other things has a new OLED Touch Bar at the top of the keyboard.

Priskritikk
product design at Apple, Jony ive, has led the development of the Touch Bar in at least two years and according to him marks the launch the start of a new direction for new products. The reason it went so long between the previous Pro and the new Pro is that Apple wanted to do it properly when they first should upgrade the flagship.

One thing however, customers seem to be dissatisfied with the new MacBookene, is the prices. Something also Phil Schiller took up during the interview with CNet.

Prioritize design over price
To CNet tells Schiller that they’re thinking on prices, but that they are going to have to design for the experience rather than the cost.

– Prisgunstighet is something we certainly think about. But we design not for the price, we design for the experience and the quality people expect of a Mac. Sometimes it means we end at a higher price on the scale, but not intentionally, because that is what it costs, tells Schiller to CNet.

Is becoming more expensive
In Norway start the most affordable 13-tommeren on 15 990 million and it is the model without the Touch Bar. If you want a MacBook Pro 13 with Touch Bar must be out by at least 18 990 nok. Then you also get things like Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB memory and 256 GB.

the MacBook Pro 15 is even more expensive and the price starts at 24 990 respectively. It is the model with the Touch Bar, Intel Core i7, 16 GB memory and 256 GB storage. If you want a slightly more powerful processor and graphics card, as well as 512 GB SSD, increases the amount of 29 490 million.
