A man in his 30s is reviewed for negligence after a “pølsebål” by Diners got out of control.
The fire is now extinguished. A 250 meters long and 150 meters wide long area is wide. The fire went towards Diners Church not far from Ås in Akershus.
– What has happened is that there is a person who has lit a fire to grill sausages. It got out of control, there are strong winds. It has burned a relatively large area fire department now has extinguished, says Svein Walle, police efforts manager on site.He says the police have now questioned the person, who has acknowledged the relationship and will be fined for it .
The fire spread quickly, and it was just before Diners church went into the fire.
– There was strong wind and it burned well. We are most pleased that the church did not smoke with, at first we were afraid of it, says Walle.
