Now there will be a toll on E136 – Future Requirements

Public Roads has received an application for approval of tariff and discount system for Tresfjord Bridge and Vågstrandstunnelen on E136 Romsdal toll company Exports Road. Appraisers proposal is sent out on local political consultation before the application is finally decided by the Public Roads.

Scheduled collection to start in the fall. Finally the commencement date will be determined later during June, reports NPRA on their websites.

In tariff application is assumed to arrears collection three bomsnitt with four toll booths. Toll for Tresfjord Bridge gets on Skorgen, Beard Stad and Vikebukt in Vestnes. Toll for Vågstrandstunnelen gets on minke Rauma.

Proposed fare Tresfjord Bridge is 86 million for light vehicles and 258 million for heavy vehicles. The same rate will also apply to motorists who drive around Tres fjord and pass toll booths on Skorgen and Beard Stad within an hour. For Vågstrandstunnelen is tariff proposal NOK 40 for light vehicles and 120 million for heavy vehicles.

Motorists with AutoPASS tag and a local agreement can receive discounts by paying an advance amount.

Motorists Phones in other toll company gets 10 percent discount using valid AutoPASS tag. To avoid traffic leakage is necessary to establish toll collection on E136 around Tres Fjord. It will therefore be set up two toll plazas around Tres fjord where motorists passing both toll plazas within one hour pay tolls (reverse hour rule).
