Now try torrent browser – ITavisen.no

Maelstrom launched in public beta.

Last December it was announced that BitTorrent has plans to come with a separate browser based on P2P technology.

The browser, called Maelstrom, now – several months after the announcement of the project – has been launched in a public beta release.

This means that you can now test torrent browser, eliminating the use of remote servers because it relies on torrent technology (P2P).

According Bittorent was 10,000 developers who tested alpha version, and many more will probably try the service now.

BitTorrent has also released a new developer tool that allows developers to build their own websites around P2P technology.

Currently, Maelstrom only available on Windows and can be downloaded here. A Mac version is on the way, according to BitTorrent.
