It is not certain everyone sees the new Emoji your – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): The latest iOS update was available for all Apple users yesterday evening.

Besides small improvements and a new Apple Watch app, promises version 8.3 more than 300 new Emoji.

Emoji, meaning smiljefjes in Japanese, is the name of Apple symbol keyboard. The small figures can be used in text messages and social media, assuming that you have iPhone or other Apple products.

The new smilies have already sparked debate.

Emoji popping up on your screen as small squares or other ugjenkjennbare symbols, the explanation is simple.

You must namely remember to update (see example at the bottom of the case).

That you can not take advantage of the latest smilies before downloading the latest version is obvious. But Apple lets you rather not see them.

Thus, if a friend with brand new keyboard will send you a new emoji before you update, you either squares or the “old” symbols in return.

Among the new icons are human smileys with new skin tones. Until yesterday, these were only available with white complexion, something Apple has previously been criticized for. Several new options are added to the update, including the Norwegian.

The emojivisningen is moreover changed, and is now in a larger and more convenient scrolling system instead of tabs at the bottom of a row.

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones was otherwise compared with emoji under the Golden Globes in January.
