Although Samsung Galaxy S7 has not appeared on store shelves yet, YouTube user JerryRigEverything got his claws in the new top model. Instead of showing viewers his how the new phone works, he uses either time checking how much mobile tolerate.
Survives torture with aplomb
The actual deed ( e) you can see in this video. JerryRigEverything uses a variety of tools to check how much the Galaxy S7 Edge really tolerate. First is a scrape test, where the screen is subjected to scraping with sharp material of the stipulated hardness variations on the Mohs scale. The screen gives way first hardness 6, feldspar, and at no. 7, quartz, it gets really ugly.
It continues torturer over to scrape the camera lens (who survive), the glass front flash (which is not survives) and edges (being scratched). The back also get a game with the knife but it does not seem to have any particular effect. Then take the YouTube user forward a lighter and burn the screen over relatively long periods various places, but the result is no more than a few bright, burnt areas.
After that starts the real test: will Galaxy S7 Edge withstand being bent so hard a grown man just can? As we remember from Bendgate scandal with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, it’s not saying that a phone can withstand such treatment.
But S7 Edge makes all fear to shame, leaving almost no flex whatsoever . Only a bit of glass on one side pops out from its frame, but no matter how hard YouTube user presses, so it cracks or breaks never. There are simply some impressive and show that S7 Edge is a phone that is extremely well screwed together.
