Coop Norway, Friday issued a warning to people to open the message that purports to come from from retail.
– New scam SMS claiming to be from Coop is now spreading. SMS is not from Coop and those who receive SMS warned against clicking on the link that refers to, according to a press release.
The SMS should have been spread from one or more numbers in recent days, and shall contain message: “ Get a voucher for £ 699 from COOP. Click here http://bit.ly/COOP-NO».
- Coop encourages all its customers to be critical of what links you click on the – both the mobile and web, warns the press release.
- Coop Director Jan-Ivar Alsén Coop Finnmark tells Altaposten that they have not received any feedback about SMS from customers in Finnmark.
