Apple acknowledges iOS 9 issues – ITavisen.no

Fix “coming soon.”

Yesterday, we reported that several iPhones crashes or freezes completely when pressed links.

Admits errors
First it was announced that this came after upgrading to iOS 9.3, but new according to new reports also applies iOS 9 and above.

Apple now acknowledges that the problem excites and that they are working on a fix to be released in an upcoming software update.

“we are aware of this problem and we will launch a fix software update soon,” reads the short message from the iPhone manufacturer.

It shows that when you push links in Safari, messages, Mail, notes or other applications, crash the app or freezes completely.

Some users report that nothing happens when they click on a link, while others write the app to crash when you press and hold long on a link.

Several users report that disabling JavaScript in Safari to fix the problem. This is done via Settings – Safari and Advanced.

Problems
rollout of iOS 9.3 has in no way been trouble for Apple. In addition to link problems, which so far also applies to former iOS 9 units also upgrade process to the latest iOS version has been problematic.
