There are adapters sold with Macs and some iOS devices between 2003 and 2015 that are affected by the recall program.
The affected adapter you see in the picture above is also found in Apple’s “World Travel Adapter Kit.”
Do you have such an adapter, verify the Apple device it was sold to Apple, then contact them here or contact an Apple Authorized partner.

“Apple has found that Apple adapters with plug with two pins, which are designed to be used in mainland Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Argentina and Brazil, in rare cases can break and cause a risk of electric shock when touched.
These adapters with plug was from 2003 to 2015 came with Macs and some iOS devices, and they were also included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit .
Customer safety is always priority for Apple, and we have on its own initiative decided to replace the affected støpseladapterne with new adapters with redesigning free. We encourage customers to follow the process described below to replace the affected parts.
Please note that other plug socket, for example, for the US, UK, China and Japan, or USB chargers from Apple is not affected by this scheme. “
