Oculus has showcased the final version of their VR goggles.

The hardware is revealed
Oculus Rift has finally shown off the final Oculus Rift hardware . It has VR sound (this is more important than many believe), is much lighter and more comfortable to wear than developer kits.
The resolution of the Rift is not revealed. We’ll certainly know more at E3 as we attend this year.
Oculus Home is a Steam-like program connected to Oculus experience, but that one can use without the headset on. Home we learn more about at E3.

– Lightweight and comfortable
> The final version reminiscent of Crescent Bay version was revealed last year, and we had an incredibly fun experience with. Great is it that one can use their own headphones for those who do not follow have enough punch.

Oculus has partnered with Microsoft for Xbox One controller support and support for the headset.
It is still not revealed any launch date.
A 2016 product, but when ?
“Many had hoped for a 2015 launch, but it proved that not to happen.
Oculus boss, Palmer Luckey, was very taciturn, and would not say something about when we could expect us a launch, “we wrote on May 6, when the company revealed that Oculus Rift is an early 2016 product.

Oculus Rift requires the following PC hardware or more powerful to deliver the best experience:
* NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 (or later)
* Intel i5 4590 (or later)
* Minimum 8GB RAM
* Compatible HDMI 1.3 output
* 2 USB 3.0 ports
* Windows 7 SP1 or later
